Our Italy based production
company was set up in 1998. Menotti Bucco Films was created by Menotti
Bucco, a former photojournalist, in Napoli.
We mostly produce broadcast
documentaries, but we also make short fiction films and corporate videos. We
use digital technology for both shooting and editing.
We deal mostly with social
and political issues. Among the subjects we dealt with until now are
terrorism, prostitution, sexuality and politics.
We
are currently involved in two documentary co productions with MA.JA.DE. (Germany),
one of which for an ARTE Theme Evening, one co production with BARBAROSSA
FILMS (Germany) and one with IRUSOIN (Spain).
We are developing more co
productions with other European partners.
In 2002 we set up our Paris
based twin company, MB FILMS and started co producing our projects with both
of them.
